        Driver Headroom
        Use spare capacity so the driver is not operated at its limit. This calculator defaults to 20% headroom.
        Voltage Drop
        The voltage drop estimate is for the low voltage feed wire to the strip. Long tape light runs may need additional power injection.
        Class 2 Loads
        Large layouts may need to be split across multiple drivers, zones, or controllers. Verify product ratings before installation.
        Controls
        Match controller type to the tape light: single colour, CCT, RGB, RGBW, RGB+CCT, or SPI/addressable.
