The BRK SC6W01A is a hardwired combination smoke and carbon monoxide alarm with a photoelectric smoke sensor and an electrochemical CO sensor. A replaceable AA battery keeps it working during power outages, and the side-loading battery drawer lets you change the battery without taking the alarm down. LED indicators show power, alarm, low-battery and end-of-life status, and SoftCue replacement reminders give an earlier, less disruptive low-battery warning. It interconnects with most hardwired First Alert and BRK alarms: when one sounds, all compatible alarms sound, and the latching feature shows which alarm started. Current and new BRK Precision Detection models use the same wiring harness, and the alarm comes with a standard mounting bracket and Easy-Fit mounting plate for clean replacement installs. Conforms to CAN/ULC S531 and CSA 6.19-17. Replaces SC9120BA.
