The Hi-Bright Recessed / Trimless Dual-Purpose Magnetic Track Light System offers a clean, modern, and flexible lighting solution for both residential and commercial interiors. Designed with a reversible installation trim, the track can be mounted either as a recessed type with ears upward secured to framing before drywall, or as a trimless mud-in type with ears downward for a seamless ceiling finish. Powered by 24V DC, the system supports a range of magnetic light modules such as spot, flood, grille, and pendant lights. With a high color rendering index (CRI>90) and consistent 3000K warm white color temperature, it ensures superior light quality and visual comfort.
Track Installation Options
The magnetic track can be configured for either Trimless recessed or mud-in (trimless) installation by reversing the trim (ears) downward during installation.
Trimless Recessed Installation
The ears (mounting trims) must be secured to the wooden framing or joists before drywall installation. After the track is fixed in position, the drywall is installed flush around it, resting on the upper edge of the ears. This ensures solid support and precise alignment with the ceiling surface.-In (Trimless) Installation (Ears Downward)
The ears (flanges) are flipped downward, positioned behind the drywall, and fixed to the framing. Once installed, joint compound (mud) is applied over the edges to create a seamless trimless ceiling finish.
